My Room

Im glad that i have a great roommate. My roommate is there for me when I am down and need someone to talk to. We are like sisters because we act and dress alike. Most of my other friends do like their roommate. When i first got here i thought that i was not going to have a roommate. When i came up to the door and knocked, my roommate opened the door. Ever since then me and her can not stay apart.

Christmas Break

I am so ready for Christmas break but i am not ready to stay at home for a month. there is nothing to do in meridan but sleep and eat. Back when i was younger there were plenty of things to do but now that i am older there is nothing to do but work, shop, and go out to the clubs. I do not like going to the clubs back home because they are very dangerous. Im ready to see my family and my true close friends but the town and other people i am not ready to see. I pray me and my family and everyone have a great, blessful Christmas.

Finding out who my real friends are

Since i have been here at USM, i have find out who my real true friends are. I had a friend who accuse me of saying things but her that was not true at all. We had a great friendship so i thought she would have knew me better than that. So now our friendship has ended over lies. Then i had another friend who spread lies on me which were not true. I didnt even worry about it because everyone knows me and knows the truth. People know she just wants me to have a bad name like her. So now that i am growing up i know now who my real friends are.

My grades

My grades so far are looking ok. They could be a whole lot better. I plan on taking all this free time and focusing on my work. I am determine to pull my c's up to a's or b's. Hopefully i will be able to do that. I'm just going to start doing my homework and turning in my assignments on time. I'm going to have to stop hanging out and going out with friends, because my education is very important to me, plus i can not bring a c home with me.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time of the year where you give God thanks. I love thanksgiving it is my second best holiday to celebrate. What i love most about this holiday is all families get together and have fun. I can not wait to get some of that good 'ole home cook meal. I can not wait to see all my cousins, aunts, and uncles. I pray for those who are homeless and do not have a family. Hopefully they will find some where to go and have a good meal. I am just excited because i love my family and i love to eat.

The Capitol City Classic

This past saturday was my first time ever attending a Classic game. my friends and I really enjoyed ourselfs. The first night we went down there, some Kappas "who are my friend's friends" took us to a step show. It was hosted by a famous comedian named, Joe Tory. I enjoyed the step show espeacially seeing all of the soroities. Then the next day we got ready for the game. The game was so packed and it was hard to park. JSU won by 12 or more points, so everyone was very excited. That night we went out to a big party and had lots of fun. I can't wait til the next one.

Halloween

This is my first Halloween away from home. Usually every year me and my best friends go out to a party and just hang out. This year i'm in college so things are a little different. Down here they throw a big party and everyone dresses up in a costume. If you dress up you get in the party for 3 dollars, but if you don't you have to pay 5 or more. This year i'm going to be a sexy basketball player and my other three friends are going to be a sexy school girl, a sexy batwoman, and a sexy cat girl. I hope we have a lot of fun and things go ok. This will be a moment of my life that i'll never forget.

My first tattoo

I remeber it like it was yseterday. It was a week before my 19th birthday, when one of my new friends and I decided to go together and get a tattoo. The place was called Lady Luck and was located right across the highway from the freshmen dorm. So as we got there he wanted us to look around and see what we would like to get. My friend wanted her name on her back and I wanted A japanese symbol that meant beauty. My friend went first as i sat beside her watching and comforting her. Then I went next, it hurt like hell. I wanted to tell him stop so many times but i didnt want to punk out and plus i really wanted my tattoo. In the end I loved it and plan on getting another one.

Coming Back home for my high school Homecoming

I can not wait to go to my high school homecoming. Our high school homecoming is the biggest thing in my city. At the game my closest friends and I are going to reunite at the game, because we havent seen each other since the summer. Most of the people I went to school with are supposed to be there too. I am really excited about this game but mostly excited abotu see my frinds. We are going to act crazy just like old times.

USM Parking

USM parking is terrible and I do not like the parking at all. I have received two parking tickets for parking in a staff parking lot when I could not find no where esle to park. I stay and Pulley and Pulley is surrounded by three other Freshmen dorms. They provide us with a parking lot that consist of about 30 parks, when there are about 400 of us that has cars. Right in front of Pulley is a big parking lot but we can not park there because it's for the staff only. I counted and there are over 30 parking spaces and it's only 12 or less staff cars park in there. Someone needs to get this changed quick because someone will get hurt. For example, One night when I was getting off work there were no student parks and in front of my dorm there was a big empty parking lot but no one cant park in there because it's the staff's parking lot. So I had to find a park way arcoss campus which was about five minutes away from my dorm. Thank god I have friends that met me half way so I wouldn't walk by myself because there is no telling what would have happen.

USM Homecoming

USM homecoming was a big, exciting event everyone had been waiting for. Me and my friends put on some clothes and got ready for the trail gating. It was crazy out there, all you could was food, smoke from all the bar-b-que gars, and people with gold and black shits on. The school spirit was every where. The people on the homecoming court were so beautiful and handsome. The game was so packed we hardly fought a seat. Then after the game, the the after parties were too packed. Me and my friends rode by four clubs and every club had a line from the door into the parking lots. We did not let that stop us from enyoying the rest of the night.

My 19th Birthday

My 19th Birhtday was my most exciting birthday ever. I cut my hair and everyone loved it because it made me look older! My new best friends took me to Chucky's Cheese for a little birthday party. Then we spent time in the mall acting crazy. That night on my birthday this big R&B group called, Jagged Edge was going to be doing a concert in town. So my friends and I all bought tickets to go see them perform. I loved it, it was my first time meeting someone famous. I got an autograph and one of the member's towel. I did not want this night to end at all!

GEWW Week

Geww week at USM stands for Golden Eagles Welcome Week. At Geww week you learn about the school, meet new friends, and do fun activities. I met most of my new friends threw Geww week. Geww is for Freshmens only and it lasted for a week. If you came and took part in Geww week they awarded you an hour credit which was very good and helpful towards your hours in the future. I loved it and I had a great time. For the coming up Freshmens I would recommend them to go and take part in it. It is very helpful and you will learn a lot because I did.

Move in day at USM

The first day I was very nervous because I didn't know what to expect. When I arrived on campus to move in my dorm, I was expecting not to have a roommate. When I fought the room I would be staying in, it had my name and another girl's name on the door. So I knocked on the door and a girl answered it with a big smile on her face. So as she help me move my stuff in we were getting to know one another. We got along very well and we realized that we had a lot of clothes and shoes in common. After I got to know my new roommate I kind of felt not to nervous no more.

The First Football Game

Our first game was the first exciting event of the school year. Everyone had been waiting for this day every since school first started. I can remember it like it was yesterday , everyone was so excited, anxious, and in the school spirit. We were so crunk at the pep rally and the band was off the chain. When I went home after school I did all my homework first and then got ready for our first game. The game was so packed with wildcat fans who were ready to see a win. It was such a fun and exciting game that I will never forget.

My first day of school

This was our first year ever to wear uniforms. We hated it at first but when we saw everyone looking descent we stop complaining. For some reason this year they wanted to change things around, they switch band from seventh period to first period which means we were out in the burning sun EVERY MORNING. After marching around in a 100 degree weather we had 1o mintues to get back into our uniforms. Everyone was laughing at us but I just laugh and clowned back. I enjoyed my first day of being a senior.

My summer before school started

My summer before my senior year went by very quick. I could not wait for school to start so I could see what my senior year was going to be like. I had to spend a week at USM color guard camp, then I had to spend two and a half weeks at my high school band camp. I was the captain of my color guard so I could not wait to start running things. Even though I got darker at band camp I still enjoyed my summer.
